Thoughts from C. S. Lewis

A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.
C. S. Lewis

When I have been angry at God, I have sat in church refusing to worship him as if that means he will take his ball and go home.  I face the wall and refuse to even sing.  I am not a big stander, but when I am angry, I won’t even sway.  It was petty and useless because at the end of the day, I was still mad and God was still God.
